I think my aunt gave this dining room set to my dad, and it sat in our basement for a few years, under a layer of dust and gardening supplies. We rescued it last week after making room in our apartment, and with my sister’s help, gave the orange-seated chairs a makeover with some oilcloth-type fabric and a staple gun. Actually, I kept an eye on my nephew and the trimmed the excess fabric while my sister did all the stapling.
I don’t have any before pictures right now, but there are two orange chairs left at my parents’ house (the table expands to seat six) that we plan to cover soon. I’ll have to remember to snap some pictures before we cover them up.
